HOW TO USE OROXID® SENSITIVE ORAL SPRAY?

OROXID® sensitiv oral hygiene spray 100 ml should be used 2–3 times per day with inflammatory conditions and 1–2 times per day for preventive reasons and for maintaining good oral hygiene. The product is best used during or after brushing. Spray the solution with 3 to 4 pumps of the spray into your mouth, swirl it around your mouth for approximately 30 seconds and spit it out. You do not need to rinse your mouth.

Upon contact with the mucosa OROXID® sensitive oral spray releases active oxygen in the form of tiny bubbles that can be felt as mild foaming in the mouth. Due to its mechanical properties and release of oxygen, it affects the microenvironment in the injured oral mucosa.

OROXID® sensitiv oral hygiene spray 100 ml contains deionised water, a 1.5% hydrogen peroxide* solution, obtained with a special technological process, Actipone® PX3 (a combination of herbs: purple cornflower, myrtle, and ginger), flavors and stabilizer.

OROXID® sensitiv oral hygiene spray is alcohol-, chlorhexidine-, and sodium oxychloride-free, therefore it is safe for long-term use and does not dry out the oral mucosa. 

* Main ingredient is Active Oxygen produced from highly purified Medical Grade Hydrogen Peroxide. Hydrogen Peroxide is obtained using a special demanding technological process and is purified and stabilised with food-grade stabiliser, reaching the highest level of cleanliness without heavy metals. The oxygen compounds obtained this way closely resemble biological forms of hydrogen peroxide which are produced by our immune cells. The body’s cells recognize them and accept them as its own in a form of active oxygen compounds. They do not belong to the same group of regular hydrogen peroxide, which is labelled as biocide and chemical for disinfection. The product is therefore safe and suitable for adults as well as children.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

OROXID® sensitiv oral spray is intended for topical use in the oral cavity. The product should not be swallowed. If you experience irritation after the use of OROXID® sensitiv oral spray 100 ml, it is usually only temporary and passes after a few minutes or after rinsing the mouth with water. Irritation may occur if an individual already has ulcers in the oral cavity. If the irritation persists for more than five days, a consultation with a dentist is recommended. Studies have shown that on the daily use of low concentrations of active oxygen compounds (up to 3%) is safe even over longer periods of time (up to six years).
