INGREDIENTS:
OROXID® Sensitiv Gel contains deionised water, 1.5% hydrogen peroxide solution, Actipone® PX3 (Aqua, Glycerin, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Zingiber Officinale Root Extract, Commiphora Myrrha Resin Extract, Echinacea Purpurea Extract), Aristoflex HMB, Sepin EMT 10, flavourings and stabiliser.
OROXID® Sensitive Oral Gel is alcohol-, chlorhexidine- and sodium oxychloride-free, so it is safe for prolonged use and does not dry out the oral mucosa.
SAFETY MEASURES AND WARNINGS
OROXID® Sensitiv Oral Gel is safe to use and does not damage the hard and soft tissues of the oral cavity or increase the risk of long-term side effects. OROXID® Sensitiv Oral Gel is intended for topical use in the oral cavity and for swishing only. The product is not intended for consumption and should be spat out after the swishing. If you experience irritation when using OROXID® Sensitiv Oral Gel, it is usually transient and stops after a few minutes or after rinsing with water. Irritation may occur in people with pre-existing oral ulcers. If the irritation lasts more than five days, a consultation with a dentist is recommended. Daily use studies of low concentrations of active oxygen compounds up to 3% have shown safe use even over longer periods (up to six years).
Upon contact with the oral mucosa, the OROXID® Sensitiv Oral Gel releases active oxygen in a series of tiny bubbles that can be felt as a mild foaming sensation in the mouth. Due to its mechanical properties and oxygen release, it affects the microenvironment of the damaged mucosa.
OROXID® Sensitiv Oral Gel is suitable for daily, prolonged use and for people with sensitive mucous membranes.
